In the beginning there was ATV racing, and it was good. But the tires on those early three-wheelers? Not so much. Then came a tire that changed everything. The Turf Tamer provided stability, handling and traction that was unheard of in those early days of the sport. If a rider wanted to be competitive, he or she used Turf Tamers—there was no choice. And the Turf Tamer not only set the standard back then, it served as the blueprint for generations of performance ATV tires to come. Look at any sport quad tire today and you can easily see the resemblance to the original Turf Tamer.
In the annals of ATV history, the Turf Tamer deserves a standing ovation. Now, ITP is bringing it back for an encore, updated and better than ever. The ITP Turf Tamer Classic is made in the USA and returns in two models. Both utilize a strong, lightweight, 2-ply carcass that’s been re-engineered to accommodate the characteristics of today’s 4-stroke sport quad models. It provides unmatched durability as well as excellent handling and ride. Their proven dimpled knob design and an advanced tread compound delivers exceptional traction and long life. Joining the Turf Tamer Classic is the Classic MX model, which features pre-grooved tread—an industry first. This pre-grooving adds an extra degree of performance on loose, loamy track surfaces. The ITP Turf Tamer Classic and Classic MX are reborn in 18x10-8 rear sizing, at a price that’s as competitive as the legendary tire itself. For pricing. Buy Now

ITP is set to make even more mischief in the ATV/UTV aftermarket with the introduction of the all-new Mega Mayhem. This younger brother of the original ITP Mayhem uses all the tricks of its sibling, but has added some wicked moves of its own.
Most notably, the taller, brawnier Mega Mayhem features an even more aggressive 1.5-inch-deep lug for ferocious bite, making it the baddest boy on ITP’s block. The Mega Mayhem can throw a punch! Despite the attitude, the Mega Mayhem maintains its family values. The unique tread pattern behaves well on harder surfaces, while its lightweight 6-ply carcass charms with exceptional acceleration and braking characteristics as well as balanced cornering traits. The original Mayhem has proven to be a real tough guy with its unquestioned durability, and the Mega Mayhem follows closely in those foot tracks. Both tires mark their territory with distinctive, tribal-inspired, embossed artwork. Born and raised in the U.S.A., the new Mega Mayhem swaggers out in eight sizes ready to be slapped on most popular 4x4/utility ATVs and side-by-side UTVs: 27x9-12, 27x11-12, 27x9-14, 27x11-14, 28x9-12, 28x11-12, 28x9-14 and 28x11-14. The Pro-Am ATV racer from Murrieta, CA put GBC’s popular Race Rex tires to the test in the first round of the WORCS season. Saturday morning rain had left the WORCS course at Glen Helen a muddy challenge by the time the Sunday afternoon races rolled around. Dixon overcame a bad gate pick to come out of the start in 4th place. Officials rerouted the riders partway through the race to avoid the messier pro section, but Dylan fought through the conditions to finish in 5th place. “We are happy to be supporting Dylan this year as he is a great up-and-coming rider with a lot of heart and talent on the track,” said GBC Motorsports representative Kory Ellis. |
