Raceline Wheels Jason Divis and Greg Wells will be alternating driving duties  of a 2013 Arctic Cat in the Production 1000 class at the 2013 HCR UTV King of  the Hammers race.  “What better way to test and prove the strength of the  Raceline UTV wheels and tires than to race them in the hardest UTV race known to  date,” said Jason Divis, Raceline UTV Division Manager.  “We trail ride and go  to Glamis all the time, so being in the rocks will be totally different and  exciting.”
Raceline recently released the new A71 Mamba beadlock wheel. It is a true  beadlock that features a forged billet aluminum outer ring, 20 bolt beadlock  system and enduro inner lip technology.  The A71-Mamba is arguably the best  looking beadlock on the market.

Raceline Wheels also produces the Raceline MT Tire specifically for
side-by-sides.  This aggressive tire comes in 25” to 30” options.  All the
Raceline SXS Wheels and Tires are available through most powersports
  dealers.

“We bought the Arctic Cat basically for marketing purposes, to display at shows  and continually test our wheels, I don’t think we ever intended to race it,” said Divis.  “We just decided to do this a couple weeks ago so I have been  gathering up parts and we installed most of them last weekend. We will only have  the week of the event to pre-run.”  The list of parts going on the Arctic Cat is  extensive!  Arctic Cat brand Aluminum Front Bumper, Aluminum Rear Bumper, Half  Windshield, Plastic Roof, Shoulder Bag and Trunknet. The PCI Arctic Cat Radio  Mount will hold the Rugged Radio with Intercom and King Shocks for ultimate  suspension. ProArmor has delivered Doors, Aluminum Roof, 3” 5-point Seat Belt  Harness, Harness Bar, Passenger Handle and Quickshot spare tire holder. PRP  Seats, Limiter straps and Window Nets will add safety. A DP Clutch Kit, Clutch  Fan, Vents and Winch Mount for the TJM Winch will be installed.  Delta Lights, a  Lowrance GPS and more items will be installed as they become clearly necessary  over the next week.  ‘LIKE’ the Raceline Wheels Facebook page to watch the build www.facebook.com/racelinewheels.
Jason Divis and Greg Wells will be sporting brand new Simpson Race
Suits.Raceline Wheels  Arctic Cat will be on display in Vendor Row alongside many other vehicles and  wheels for Jeeps, UTV’s, SUV’s, Trucks and Cars. Raceline will be in HammerTown  the entire week for any technical questions for rock crawlers, tow rigs,  trailers, UTVs and race vehicles. The Outside Display booth is located on  Besttop Blvd just across from the main meeting tent.

At this year’s King  of the Hammers, Raceline Wheels has announced a $5,000 bounty for a Raceline  Wheels user to win the Ultra4 race on Friday.  They have also announced a $1,000  bounty for either the Stock or Modified Class winners using any Raceline or  Allied wheel.  For the fourth year in a row, Raceline will be hosting the  Volunteer dinner on Thursday night.  For more information on all of these  programs please go to www.facebook.com/racelinewheels.

The World Off-Road Championship Series is ready to roll into the 2013 season, and STI Tire & Wheel will once again be a big part of the action. Along with being an  official WORCS sponsor, STI is stoked to offer considerable support to its customers throughout the nine-round 2013 WORCS schedule. It all begins January 25-27 at Canyon Raceway in Peoria, Arizona, and ends October 11-13 at Honolulu Hills in Taft, California.

STI has posted a bountiful contingency program  valued at $78,000 to be spread among all ATV and SxS class winners in all  classes — from Beginners to Pros, Youth to Adult — competing with minis, UTVs  and the entire range of quad classes. Use STI Tech 4 XCs, Black Diamonds, or hot  new Roctane XD tires on the way to the top of the results sheet, and you will  earn credits toward future STI product purchases.

STI is happy to announce that it will again be  partnering with Triumph Motorsports to provide full trackside support at every  event. If any STI competitor needs new tires or wheels, dismounting/mounting  services or technical advice, just stop by the Triumph Motorsports display and  owner Anthony Martin and his crew will take care of you. Triumph Motorsports  will also be handling the STI contingency program mentioned above. Call: (951)  898-0272.

Become a part of Team STI today. You will be  in good company. This year Duncan Racing, one of the most experienced and  successful professional ATV programs ever, will be using STI tires and wheels  exclusively. The Duncan crew knows a good thing when they see it, as does team  H&H Racing and up-and-coming amateur competitors Jerry Maldonado and  Christian “Chu” Maldonado.

From first-timers to championship contenders,  STI will be keeping WORCS racers up front with the highest performing, most  durable and affordable tires on the track, and keeping them there with full  trackside support and a generous contingency program. This is an opportunity  that cannot be beat!

We hope you’ll join us at the races. Just fill  out one simple form for the entire WORCS season and you’ll be set. For more  information on the 2013 World Off-Road Championship Series, visit www.worcsracing.com.

ROCK IT! STI LAUNCHES ALL-NEW ROCTANE XD

Read Now

Picture
STI Tire & Wheel continues to set new  standards for creative innovation in the ATV/UTV tire industry with the  introduction of the all-new Roctane XD. This new extreme duty radial tire is  loaded with features to meet the highest demands of today’s machines and  consumers.

For example, the Roctane  XD’s 8-ply-rated radial carcass is built to confidently handle ever larger,  faster and heavier UTV applications. With this requirement in mind, the Roctane  is being rolled out in 11 sizes, including super-tall 30- and 32-inch models.
Sizing is 25x8R-12, 25x10R-12, 26x9R-12, 26x11R-12, 26x9R-14, 26x11R-14,27x9R-14, 27x11R-14, 28x10R-14, 30x10R-14 and 32x10R-14. Yes, that size range makes the Roctane XD a solid choice for many ATV applications as well.

A heavier denier  nylon cord maximizes tire toughness while retaining flexibility for a  comfortable ride. The Roctane’s unique, non-directional tread design and wide  profile footprint deliver smooth, quiet operation and precise control.

STI’s exclusive new  RocWall sidewall construction features reinforced lower sidewalls and extra-wide  tread belts for added shoulder protection and stability. Add in super-deep  RocGuard rim guards to protect even the thickest wheel lips from trail damage,  and the result is the most reliable tire on the market. The Roctane XD’s  specially formulated tread compound extends its life even further, yet it still  grips the slickest rocks like a dedicated wall-crawler.

With so much going  for it, most would expect to pay a premium price for the Roctane. That is not  the case, however, as this new tire is being offered at a strikingly reasonable  price.

ITP INTRODUCES 30-INCH MONSTER MAYHEM FOR ATV/UTV

Read Now

ITP Monster Mayhem 30 inch tires

Despite what your parents may have told you, monsters do exist. We know because They created one. ITP has just released the all-new Monster Mayhem, a 30-inch-diameter mud/trail tire with 1 3/4-inch-long claws ready to strike fear in  the heart of any mudhole with your UTV/ATV.

This creature is not the first of its kind. The Monster Mayhem has  wickedness in its DNA. Like its forebears — the ITP Mayhem and Mega Mayhem — this latest incarnation stalks in quietly on a unique tread pattern that that  gives it a smooth, quiet approach on harder surfaces. The Monster Mayhem’s  lightweight 6-ply carcass lets it pounce with exceptional acceleration, braking  and maneuverability. Like the entire Mayhem breed, the Monster Mayhem is  extremely hard to bring down due to its uncanny stamina. And you always know  it’s a Mayhem if you can get close: just look for the distinctive,  tribal-inspired, embossed markings on its sides.

The fearsome Monster  Mayhem — with an intimidating 1.75-inch tread depth — springs into action now in  two sizes: 30x9-14 front and 30x10-14 rear. Like the rest of its family, the Monster Mayhem was conceived and uncaged in America. It is the meanest, most aggressive beast you’ll find on home soil — or anywhere else.

TEAM ITP RACE REPORT RND10

ITP Tires Racer
Two and a half months is a long time for a racer to wait. If
they’re in  contention for a championship there is a lot of chomping at the bit
to get back  to work. If they’re not in it to win it, they just want to try to
salvage the  season, polish some skills while looking ahead to next year, or
simply have some  fun with the series “family.” Of course if they’re among the
few who actually  are leading in the point standings, the season cannot end soon
  enough.

As  the traditional summer break of the 2012
Grand National Cross Country Series  drew to a close, Team ITP was apparently
ready to rock the final four events on  the schedule. With fresh ITP Holeshot
and QuadCross tires mounted on their newly  tuned quads, our guys and gals were
clearly well rested and motivated at the  rugged Unadilla circuit, one of the
icons of powersports.

Dave Simmons (Yam) once again  dominated the morning race, winning the overall by
close to four minutes. It was  his seventh overall triumph of the season and
tenth straight victory in the  Super Senior 45+ class.

Also claiming a big win was Glenn  McConnell (Yam). This Masters 50+ competitor
grabbed his fifth victory of the  season and in the process snuck into the
points lead for the first time in 2012.  After skipping the first race of the
year he had been gradually moving up the  leaderboard, and Unadilla would be the
breakthrough.

Angel Atwell (Hon) finished eighth  overall in the morning and second in the Women’s
class. She is keeping things  tight in this battle, down by just eight in the
season points chase.

One Team ITP rider who would probably like
the  season to be over is Pat McGuire (Yam). Before the summer break he was
leading  the way in the XC2 Pro Am standings. But he’s obviously having too much
fun and  added to his points gap by snatching his third victory of the year and
placing  seventh overall in the afternoon event.

Not far behind in this class was  Matt Hanna (Yam). This Greg’s ATV-backed
up-and-comer ended the day in fourth  place for XC2, which was good enough to
move him up one spot to fourth in the  standings (just two points out of
third).

Adam McGill (Hon) is probably ready  to wipe the 2012 season completely off the
memory card. After yet another  competitive performance which saw him leading
the premier XC1 Pro division  early, he suffered yet another heartbreaking Did
Not Finish. Knowing Adam and  his positive attitude, however, he’s probably
ready to uproot tall pines at the  next race.

That will come at the ITP-sponsored  Powerline Park GNCC in St. Clairesville, OH, on
October 6-7.

TEAM ITP RACE REPORT Rnd 10

ITP race
The last hurrah. The big kahuna. Judgement day. No matter how
you characterize it, the 2012 ATV MX National Championship Series reached a dramatic conclusion at the Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. After nine rounds, thousands of miles and gallons of blood, sweat and tears, America’s fastest and most dedicated motocross quad racers gathered at this iconic facility in central Tennessee to bring closure to a long, exciting, hard-fought
season.

Capping an already successful schedule, Team ITP wrapped things
up neatly with several event victories and overall
championships.

Maci Devenport applied the coup de grace to the Girls (12-15)
class with a 1-1 moto sweep. It was her fourth overall victory in a row (fifth
for the season), and earned her the crown after trailing in points all year.
This stunning performance came on the heels of a dominant 90 Production (8-15)
campaign which allowed her to skip the class at Loretta’s altogether and still
claim that title by a wide margin.

Another
ITP champion is Samuel Rowe, who had already wrapped up the Schoolboy Jr.
(13-15) division before the season finale. This Janssen
Motorsports-powered Root
River Racing rider backed that up with the runner-up slot in the final
Schoolboy Sr. (14-17) standings. He decided to race the College (16-24) class
instead at Loretta’s and enjoyed a 2-2, second overall
day.

As he has done throughout the year, Merrill Crose entered four
classes. In eight total motos, this privateer never finished lower than second.
It added up to overall wins in 450 A and Open A, as well as runner-up rides in
Junior 25+ and Veteran 30+. In the final standings this ironman was second for
the series in all four classes.

Root River Racing’s Haedyn Mickelson was also a star ITP
performer, picking up the Schoolboy Jr. (13-15) overall with a 1-1 sweep. Solid
2-2 rides in Schoolboy Sr. (14-17) netted second overall in that class too. He
did not compete as usual in the Super-Mini (13-15) division, but still ended up
in the top three in the final standings — just as he did in the other two
classes.

Our vote for “most improved” during the season would go to
Dalton Hicks. He capped a progressive 2012 with his first overall triumph of the
year at Loretta Lynn’s, in Production A. The Root River-backed Hicks was also
second overall in 450 A, repeating his best-of-the-series result in that class
at round nine. He ended up fifth and third in the standings in those two
classes, respectively.

Kyle Fix was consistent and highly competitive at Loretta’s,
placing second in four motos to claim second overall in both the Pro Am
Production and Pro Am Unlimited classes. These were season-best finishes as
well.

Janssen Motorsports/Roberts Racing Outlaws’ Chloe Buerster
closed the door on a solid season with a moto win and second overall in the
Women’s class, putting her in second for the year. Perhaps more impressive was
her fourth place in the final 4-Stroke B standings — a large class with some
talented guys.

Mike Barnhart climbed the podium twice in Tennessee, thanks to a
moto win and top-threes in Open A and Veteran 30+. This Root River team member
ended the year third in points in the former, fourth in the
latter.

Riding for Janssen Motorsports/Roberts Racing Outlaws, Cody
Janssen earned a moment in the sun with a strong 3-3, third overall Pro Am
Unlimited ride at round ten. This cemented his excellent third in the series in
this class. Fellow ITP rider Sean Taylor ended up right behind in
fourth.

And
let’s drop the curtain on 2012 with a thumbs-up to Jefferey Rastrelli. This
Florida native toughed out a challenging rookie season in the Pro class and
finished it up with his finest ride of the year in the final moto of the year
to grab seventh for the day and top-ten in the nation in the final
standings.
